Dining Room Reveal
Welcome to our formal dining room. Also currently being used as the home school room, ha! When we were designing our home I knew I wanted a formal eating space. Our dining room is separate but not closed off to the rest of the house - the perfect open floor plan. Long before construction was completed I knew I wanted to do wallpaper in the dining room. We decided on doing a wainscoting to incorporate then stairwell detail along with a Phillip Jefferies wallpaper . The custom wood plantation shutters and ombre drapes help soften the space even more. Similar drapes are linked below. Our chandelier is made from recycled wine bottles which I absolutely love.
My custom 3 piece artwork can be found here . Currently all artwork is 15% off using code: TOGETHER While we won’t be hosting any Easter gatherings this year I’ve enjoyed decorating for other holidays like Thanksgiving , Christmas and our Galentine's Brunch . For our dining table I wanted something that would fit the space perfectly but also allow for additional guests when needed. Our table comes with two additional leaves and we can seat up to 14! The chairs all have a fabric protection on them to protect against stains from both the little ones and my husband. :) As I mentioned above this space is currently being used as our morning homeschool gathering space. It allows us to all spread out and plan our day before I send then girls in different directions. I’ve still got a lot to learn but we are making the best of the situation. I can’t wait to be planning our next ‘social’ gathering real soon! Builder: NC Ferguson Construction Designer: Melissa DeMore Designs
