Tzatziki pronounced "tsah-see-key.” A classic greek appetizer and super simple to make. We love it paired with meat, or just to dip pita and vegetable slices in.
Ingredients: 1/2 English cucumber, peeled
1.5 c. Plain greek yogurt
2-3 garlic cloves, minced finely (add more or less depending on your preference)
2 tsp. Olive oil
Salt and Pepper
Instructions:
1. Combine yogurt, grated garlic, olive oil and S&P to a bowl.
2. Half cucumber and remove seeds, then grate into bowl. Stir to combine all ingredients.
3. Cover and refrigerate. This is great to make ahead of time and even better on day 2!
Adding this homemade tzatziki to your greek inspired dinner is a great way to change things up. These grilled lamp chops, greek salad and pita with tzatziki are on our menu at least every other week. You can find my homemade greek salad dressing recipe HERE.
