Good basics are hard to come by, whether a simple white tank or slouchy v-neck tee. I’m breaking down some of my favorite basics that are both affordable and stylish.

TANK TOPS
I love a classic ribbed tank. For me I’m always worried about two things; the length and thickness. Living in Florida there is a fine line between too thin (see-through) and too thick (hot). I bought this in both white and black, because why not have a few options right?! The length is perfect on my 5’11 frame, and I love that the strap thickness is wide enough to wear a regular bra.
Easy to wear alone with a pair of shorts on a casual day or refine the look with adding a blazer. Reasonably priced as well and only $32.
V-NECKS
Similar to the tank tops I’m worried about the length which is clearly not a problem here. I sized up to a medium to obtain a more causal slouchy look, this allows me to both tuck it in or knot it to the side. The ‘v’ doesn’t come down to far keeping it appropriate, its super lightweight yet not see-through and priced under $30!
I love their grey-beige option in addition to the classic black.
